What is SkillEdu VARSITY, and how is it different from my regular school?
SkillEdu VARSITY works alongside your regular schooling — it's not a replacement for school, but a skill, research, and innovation layer on top of it. While school focuses on curriculum and exams, we focus on exposing you to emerging fields like AI, robotics, and space science, and helping you build real projects, competition experience, and a skill profile.
Do I need to already be "good at" a subject like AI or coding to join?
No. Programs are designed around exposure first — you're introduced to a domain through applied, project-based learning, and your interest or aptitude develops from there. Programs exist from elementary level onwards. Inferred from program structure
What kind of projects will I actually get to build?
Based on our AIoT deep-tech pipeline (85+ projects currently in R&D), students have built AI, IoT, robotics, drone, 3D printing, and AR/VR prototypes — many of which go on to compete at global platforms like WAICY and AIYES.
Can I really win international competitions as a school student?
Yes — this isn't hypothetical. SkillEdu VARSITY students have won medals at WAICY (2020–2024) and AIYES 2025, including at Elementary and Middle School levels.
Will this help me get into college, or is it just extracurricular?
IAP Programs are specifically structured to help with college credit, advanced placement, and building an application profile — evidenced by alumni like Sri Samskruthi Kokkonda, who secured an $88,000 scholarship to the University of Arizona.
Can I turn a school project into an actual startup?
Yes — through SEVA-RISE, student prototypes can progress toward incubation. Alumna Sri Sahithi Kokkonda launched her startup, Areial Robotics, directly out of the IAP Entrepreneur Program.
Is this a substitute for my child's school, or an addition to it?
An addition. SkillEdu VARSITY is a skill, research, and innovation ecosystem that runs alongside conventional schooling — it doesn't replace the school curriculum or diploma.
Why should my child start this early instead of waiting for college?
Aptitude discovery and skill-building compound over time. A child who identifies an interest in AI or robotics in Class 5 has years more runway to develop it than one who first encounters it in college — and colleges increasingly reward demonstrated, sustained interest over last-minute activity. Inferred from program design
What tangible outcomes have other students achieved?
Concrete, named outcomes include: an $88,000 university scholarship (Samskruthi Kokkonda), a self-launched startup (Sahithi Kokkonda's Areial Robotics), and multiple international medals at WAICY and AIYES across 2020–2025.
How is this different from a regular coaching/tuition center?
Coaching centers typically prepare students for a specific exam. SkillEdu VARSITY is structured around research, innovation labs, global competitions, and entrepreneurship — outcomes that go beyond a test score, including project portfolios and college-credit pathways via IAP.
Is this only for children who want engineering/tech careers?
No — the course catalogue spans 20+ domains including healthcare, agriculture, design, finance, and sustainability, so the model applies well beyond pure tech careers, even though AI/tech is a flagship area. Inferred from catalogue
How do I track my child's progress?
Through the Skill Passport model — a continuously updated record of your child's certifications, projects, and skill scores. Inferred — exact reporting format to be confirmed
What does SkillEdu VARSITY actually provide to a partner institution?
A combination of curriculum/skill programs (IAP, ProSkill Campus), faculty capability-building (GuidePro), and accreditation/quality support (QualityPro, QAAR Suite) — designed to raise both student outcomes and institutional rankings.
How many institutions are already working with SkillEdu VARSITY?
500+ schools, colleges, and institutions have engaged with SkillEdu VARSITY's programs and outreach.
Can our institution host or co-organize a competition like WAICY?
Potentially — SkillEdu VARSITY (as SEVA) is recognised as the Country Organiser for WAICY 2022 in India, so there is existing infrastructure and relationships for competition hosting.
Does this help with our institution's accreditation or ranking goals?
Yes — QualityPro and the QAAR Suite are specifically built as a quality assurance, assessment, and accreditation framework aimed at national/international accreditation and ranking outcomes.
Do you offer faculty training, or only student-facing programs?
Yes — GuidePro is the faculty-facing platform, designed to build teaching capability so that accreditation and outcomes follow naturally rather than being pursued as a paperwork exercise.
What subjects/domains can we offer through this partnership?
20+ industry-aligned domains are listed in the course catalogue, spanning AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data science, sustainable design, EVs, healthcare, logistics, and more. Inferred from catalogue
Why would an industry partner engage with a school-level skilling program?
Early-stage engagement lets industry help shape curriculum around real skill gaps, and gives access to a pipeline of pre-trained, project-tested talent well before typical campus recruitment cycles. Inferred positioning
What's in it for us — internships, hiring pipeline, or something else?
ProSkill Campus explicitly includes internships, live industry projects, case studies, training delivered by "future recruiters," and expert mentoring — positioning industry as an active participant, not just an end recruiter.
Can our company help design a course or certification?
Yes — per our course design framework, industry/enterprise skill requirements are one of five direct inputs into how courses are built and endorsed.
Do you validate/endorse courses with industry credentials?
Yes — courses are validated, endorsed, and rated by associated universities, recruiting industries, and research organisations, with courses carrying credits recognized by relevant bodies.
Is there a research/innovation angle we can be part of, beyond hiring?
Yes — SEVA-RISE connects student AIoT prototypes toward commercialisation, which is a potential entry point for industry R&D collaboration or licensing, not just recruitment.
Who can become a mentor at SkillEdu VARSITY?
Mentors typically include domain experts and industry professionals brought in specifically to guide student projects. Inferred — confirm exact eligibility/application process
What does mentoring actually involve — one-off talks or ongoing guidance?
Ongoing, project-level mentoring — guiding students through research, prototypes, and competition prep — rather than one-time guest lectures.
Is there faculty development support for trainers themselves?
Yes — GuidePro is specifically built as a faculty empowerment platform, indicating structured trainer development, not just student-facing curriculum delivery.
Has SkillEdu VARSITY recognized trainer excellence externally?
Yes — Founder & Trainer K. Prudhvi Pathi Rao has won the International Best AI Teacher Award twice (WAICY and AI-YES), signaling that trainer development and recognition are an active priority.
What is the IAP Program?
A pathway letting school students engage with college-level, industry-relevant subjects, with the opportunity to earn skills, college credit, advanced placement, or both. Unlike the College Board's AP program, IAP focuses on emerging, applied domains — AI, space science, robotics — evaluated through projects and mentorship rather than a fixed, standardized exam.
What is ProSkill Campus?
A campus-placement-enriching program combining internships, live industry projects, case studies, training by future recruiters, and expert mentoring. Positioned closer to college/pre-employment stage
What is SEVA-RISE?
The research-to-commercialisation pipeline behind SkillEdu VARSITY's AIoT deep-tech projects, currently housing 85+ prototypes in active R&D. Areial Robotics, founded by IAP alumna Sri Sahithi Kokkonda, is a direct example of what it can produce.
What is GuidePro?
A platform focused on building faculty/trainer capability, positioned as the foundation that makes accreditation and institutional rankings a natural outcome rather than a scramble.
What does QualityPro / the QAAR Suite actually help an institution achieve?
A "Success Navigation Suite" for quality assurance, assessment, and national/international accreditation and ranking of universities, institutions, and programs.
What is Learnacation?
Immersive, on-location experiential learning camps — currently run in Agritech and Space Science — embedding SDG-aligned, real-world exposure directly into the learning experience.
What are AI Meta Campus, Skill Gallery, and Vishwakarma Craft?
AI Meta Campus is an AI-personalized learning environment; Skill Gallery is a showcase platform for student projects and skills; Vishwakarma Craft is a vocational, craftsmanship-focused track. Inferred from naming — least public detail available, worth a dedicated page
