The Recognition Gap

VISHWAKARMA CRAFT is named after the divine architect and patron of all craftspeople in Indian mythology. Every skilled worker in India — from the goldsmith in Rajasthan to the auto mechanic in Chennai — is a child of Vishwakarma's legacy. Our mission is to give that legacy the formal recognition it has always deserved.

Practical, oral, and portfolio-based assessment in the worker's own language and workspace — no written exam that penalises low literacy.

A nationally recognised VISHWAKARMA CRAFT certificate, digital credential, and Vishwakarma Skill ID — verifiable, portable, and DigiLocker-linked.
UPSKILL
Structured pathways to the next competency level — domain modules, technology bridges, business skills — sponsored by industry partners at zero or minimal cost.
PROTECT
Every Skill Manual is a formal heritage archive. We pursue GI tags, UNESCO recognition, and IP protection for craft traditions at risk of disappearing.
ACADEMISE
The ultimate goal: skill-based academic degrees under NEP 2020, converting decades of mastery into accredited, globally portable qualifications.
