Position Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic leader to head the School of Integrated Medicine. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in both conventional and alternative medical practices and a passion for advancing holistic healthcare education and research. As the Head of the School of Integrated Medicine, you will be responsible for developing and managing academic and research programs that blend traditional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies, ensuring students receive comprehensive medical training that prepares them for the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School of Integrated Medicine, setting the vision and goals for academic, research, and clinical training programs.
Develop innovative curricula that integrate conventional medicine with alternative approaches such as Ayurveda, homeopathy, acupuncture, naturopathy, and mind-body medicine.
Drive interdisciplinary research in integrated medicine, fostering collaborations between traditional and alternative medical fields.
Build partnerships with medical institutions, hospitals, research centers, and healthcare organizations to enhance clinical training and research opportunities.
Mentor and support faculty members in developing research, teaching, and clinical expertise in integrated medical practices.
Promote evidence-based integrated medicine by ensuring that the curriculum and research are aligned with scientific standards and global healthcare trends.
Oversee the establishment of clinical centers and research facilities that offer integrated healthcare services to the community.
Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensing, and regulatory standards related to medical education and practice.
Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance management to build a team of experts in various fields of integrated medicine.
Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and community outreach programs to promote integrated healthcare education and practices.
Secure funding, research grants, and partnerships to advance the research and clinical initiatives of the school.

Qualifications:

MD or Ph.D. in Medicine, Alternative Medicine, or a related field with specialization in integrative or holistic healthcare.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research in both conventional and alternative medical fields.
Proven leadership experience in academic administration and healthcare education.
Strong understanding of the principles and practices of integrated medicine, including the ability to bridge conventional and alternative approaches.
A strong track record of research, publications, and involvement in national and international healthcare forums.
Experience in curriculum development and clinical training in integrative health settings.
Ability to lead and inspire faculty, researchers, and students in a multidisciplinary environment.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in securing research funding and managing large interdisciplinary projects.
Preferred Experience:

Previous experience: 

leading an academic department, school, or healthcare institution.
Active involvement in integrative medical research and clinical practice.
Partnerships with global healthcare and medical research institutions.
